JD-2001Hydraulic Hinged Lip Dock Leveler
A pit-mounted deck with a hinged lip for bridging the dock-to-vehicle interface.
Bridge the dock-to-vehicle interface. Start with the application and site interfaces, then confirm the equipment configuration.
Dock levelers, also called dock levellers, bridge the height difference between a loading dock and a vehicle deck. Compare hinged lip, telescopic lip, vertical-storage and edge-of-dock arrangements against the vehicle range, pit and handling equipment.

vehicle deck range and loading frequency.
door closing line, stored position and sealing interfaces.
measured pit geometry and replacement scope.
Planning paths to review, with suitability confirmed against the actual site.
Coordinate the vehicle interface for a fixed warehouse loading bay.
Review application →Review temperature requirements, the door closing line and shelter interfaces together.
Review application →Begin with vehicle variation, local installation scope and delivery documentation.
Review application →Compare ramp and lifting approaches before committing to civil works.
Review application →Record existing geometry and condition before selecting replacement equipment.

Quantity, site access, installation responsibilities and required documentation also affect the agreed scope. Price and delivery are confirmed against a defined configuration.
Agree the relevant dimensions, material or component identification, control requirements and inspection evidence. Use the latest drawing revision for interface checks.

Dock and vehicle heights, Pit dimensions and civil works, Forklift operating weight and axle loads. Include drawings and photographs where available. Missing information should be identified explicitly so the supplier can confirm the relevant interface rather than assume it.
No. Supplier illustrations identify a product family. The equipment configuration, dimensions, controls and installation details must be agreed for the project before order.
Door requirements can be included in the project brief. JBL Entrance is our sister company for the door scope. Door and dock information remain separate while opening and control interfaces are coordinated.
Provide the original equipment identification, component photographs and dimensions. Supply availability and compatibility require confirmation; a similar appearance or product name is not sufficient to select a replacement.

Determine the dock height from the vehicles and handling process the bay must serve. Record the range of vehicle deck heights and operating conditions before selecting the equipment or fixing the civil design.

A hinged lip rotates outward from the deck; a telescopic lip extends from it. Selection depends on the vehicle interface, required reach, door arrangement and installation geometry rather than a universal preference for either type.

Use the approved drawing for the selected leveler to define pit and embedded-part requirements. Measure existing pits and resolve differences before ordering equipment or starting civil works.

Plan the leveler, shelter, door and building interface together for a temperature-controlled loading bay. The equipment combination must reflect the vehicle range, operating sequence and required environmental separation.
Identify the equipment before replacing parts.
