Supplier review starts with a defined scope.
Review the supplying manufacturer, proposed equipment and documentation against the requirements of the order.
Product and scope
Identify the proposed equipment configuration, supplying entity and any subcontracted scope. Confirm which party provides each product, drawing and instruction.
Documentation
Request product identification, relevant technical drawings and applicable evidence. Confirm that documents refer to the equipment and destination requirements under review.
Technical coordination
Record interfaces with civil works, doors, power and controls. Identify discrepancies and resolve them on an agreed drawing revision.
Inspection and acceptance
Agree checks, acceptance criteria, evidence formats and responsibility. Keep non-conformances and corrective actions linked to the affected equipment record.
Delivery and components
Confirm packing, marking, shipping documentation and component identification. Discuss spare parts against actual equipment records without assuming future stock or a universal lead time.
These are review criteria, not a claim that every supplier or product has completed a particular certification or audit.
